POLLEN CHARTS
Pecan trees are monoecious and produce male and female flowers, each blooming at a different time. Pecans that shed pollen from the male catkin before the female flower is mature are called Type I pollinators. Varieties where the female flower matures before the pollen from the male is mature are called Type II pollinators.
These charts will assist you in selecting varieties that are compatible and yield the best results for pecan cultivars in Georgia.
